Lawrence Mann

This is one of my very few personal pieces based on something not of my own creation. I’ve been a big fan of the show V since watching it as a kid in the 80’s. Recently I watched the entire thing from start to finish over the course of a few days while working as I do every year (followed up by the 2009 reboot). I Googled V art to see what was out there and was surprised to see there was actually very little. So I thought I’d create a quick piece. While it’s nothing challenging as I wanted to get this done quickly, it is still detailed and highly accurate. I did however make the trooper in my version of the poster on the wall look like Mike Donovan – the Resistance hero from the series! Just because he often hid from Diana in plain few by wearing the uniform. I thought this might be a nice touch for any other V fans out there!
