I always imagined that if Stan Lee would wear a Spider Man outfit himself in the modern era it would still be home made rather than a movie quality cosplay style outfit. After all, we all have memories of him posing with guys in ill fitting costumes and have fond memories of Peter himself buying his costumes from the fancy dress stores in NYC. So, I thought I’d as that in as my nice subtle detail to the portrait here. I also wanted to add a touch of the new New York skyline. I did think about adding in the Avengers building or the Bugle but I thought I’d keep it clean – no need to scream ‘fanboy’ here. Hope you enjoy it. Feel free to share my work.
